Keen Bali Sandals

bali sandals

I almost didn’t go for these. All the reviews were raves and half the people I know have them and to me that’s a little boring, like wow, watch me discover sandals everyone else already knows are awesome. But, curiosity got the best of me and I gave them a shot.

So, no surprise, I found that they truly are awesome. These are flip flops without the mandatory pedicure (not really, who bothers with that shizzle? Dudes don’t; they just flaunt their flaky feet everywhere without a second thought); sandals without some janky strap shoved up between your toes; summer shoes you can actually get away with wearing to the office. Me? I don’t go to an office, unless I’m doing a meeting with clients, in which case I usually go totally Business Formal because if you only have to dress up once or twice a week you may as well go full-on. But within a day of getting these shoes, I bent my own rule and wore them instead of fully-closed heels with a business outfit (OK, a dress), and I’m pretty sure it worked OK (mostly because I went to a meeting at the local Mayor’s office today and his rep kicked off her shoes and went totally barefoot, so there you go).  Believe me, these are a must-have addition to your summer wardrobe. I can even forgive you if you wear these on a plane, and I’m strict about that kind of thing. You can’t even stub your toes in the Balis because your piggies are all covered up – bonus for feet-phobics like me.

These are great. GREAT! I honestly don’t see how you can go wrong. Perfect for beach, travel, even business casual if you can pull it off. Nobody, and I mean nobody, doesn’t like these. They really are THAT GOOD.
